Most homes have excessive lot size, area, cost, maintenance and resource use. We should try to make our homes a better fit for the occupants rather than the zoning boards, banks, real estate brokers and tax collectors. With new homes, we should surpass the grace, elegance and durability of existing homes. The Estonian KODA house is an example.
